Terms of Service

1.1. The Services are intended for students preparing for school examinations and competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and Boards.

1.2. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

1.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.

1.4. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in a manner that harms the Services or other users.

2.1. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes.

2.2. You agree not to:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display the content except as permitted by the Services;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app;
• use the Services to violate any law or infringe the rights of others;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
• access the Services through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our permission.

2.3. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Services at any time to improve them or for operational reasons.

3.1. Monthly Pass. Certain content and features are available through a paid subscription (the "Monthly Pass").

3.2. Pricing. The Monthly Pass is offered at the price displayed in the app at the time of purchase. Prices may differ across platforms (for example, iOS and Android) and may be updated from time to time. On iOS, purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

3.3. Auto-Renewal. The Monthly Pass is an auto-renewable subscription. It automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method will be charged the applicable renewal price at the time of renewal.

3.4. Cancellation. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

• On iOS: through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
• On Android: through your Google Play account subscriptions.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.

3.5. Refunds. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Refund requests for purchases made through Apple's In-App Purchase are subject to Apple's refund policies and are handled by Apple. Refund requests for purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google's policies.

3.6. Free Content. Some content is available free of charge. We may change which content is free or paid at our discretion.

4.1. All content provided through the Services — including stories, comics, videos, audio narration, quizzes, illustrations, text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Staartl Networks Private Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

4.2. The Storywise name, logo, and brand elements are our property. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

4.3. Any feedback or suggestions you provide about the Services may be used by us without obligation to you.

5.1. You agree to use the Services respectfully and lawfully. You are responsible for any content you submit, including feedback, bug reports, and communications.

5.2. You must not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that violates the rights of others.

5.3. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove content or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

6.1. The Services rely on third-party providers, including Apple (App Store and In-App Purchase), Google (Play Store and sign-in), and payment processors. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6.2. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services.

7.1. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to provide accurate and helpful educational content, we do not warrant that the content is error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular examination outcome.

7.2. The Services are a supplementary learning aid. They do not guarantee any specific academic result, score, or admission outcome.

7.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Staartl Networks Private Limited and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

8.2. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Staartl Networks Private Limited from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

10.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services.

10.2. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice within the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

12.2. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India.
